CURRENT SITUATION ABOUT CORONAVIRUS RELATED RESTRICTIONS
TK and AnadoluJet have resumed domestic flights on 1 June 2020. Almost all domestic routes have been resumed with reduced frequencies.
TK and AnadoluJet have resumed international flights on 11 June 2020. Please consider the short-haul operations and long-haul operations threads for more details on operating routes.
* Be aware that restrictions may change at any time. Please keep in touch with the information of missions in Turkey and information on the Turkish Airlines website if you're planning to travel in the upcoming days/weeks.
Currently there are no restrictions to enter Turkey or to transfer at Turkey. There is also no COVID test requirement for both entering Turkey and transit ( unless you are departing from Pakistan or your arrival country asks for one ) and no quarantine upon entering Turkey.
Some countries have not opened their airports for passenger flights from/to Turkey so Turkish Airlines is not operating to all of their destinations. More information could be found in the respective threads.

Tk Cancellation
I have Two reservations under two PNR's: ( My wife and myself )
June 30 TK JFK-IST
Jun 31 TK IST-MRS
July 6 TK LYS-IST
July 7 TK ISI-JFK
2nd PNR has a different return from IST to JFK
TK notified us today ( We already knew it ) that flights are cancelled and to call the call center.
When I look at PNR , they left all flights intact except June 30 JFK to Istanbul
I am contemplating of calling TK and making tickets open jaw because I do not think that TK will EVER reduce their Business class fares to these numbers.
Question: ISTFLYER you mentioned that ticket can be used within SAME REGION. COULD I USE TICKET TO PARIS and ISTANBUL in the future instead of MARSEILLES and LYON ??

Was there a list that TK was reinstating their international flights somewhere? I saw it .. but didn't save it. Then I suddenly see the same list show up posted all over the place as "airport opening dates" which is ridiculous cos places like LHR, DOH, KUL airports didn't close but I saw it as the same list that TK first posted it. But now I can't find it.

I do not give any credit what the Minister of Transportation says. TK has not been confirmed any of those flights and keeps cancelling. There is at least one destination that has been written there but are currently postponed until August. Better follow the TK availability than listen politicians.

According to the e-mail I just received from Turkish Airlines:
- Check-in for domestic flights would be closed 60 minutes before departure.
- Check-in for international flights would be closed 75 minutes before departure.

Upcoming flight
My parents are scheduled to fly on June 19th from DOH-IST and onwards to IST-IAD. They just emailed us about the schedule change for IST-IAD. It will now be a 13hour stopover! They are stuck in a situation where they have to return home. Is this a reasonable stopover given the covid restrictions? How is the IST airport at this given time. Thank you in advance for any feedback. Its a stressful decision

They could stay airside and wait for their flight. I'm not sure but the YOTEL Airside might be probably open by then. Also, there would be a decent amount of food vendors open at that time.
Another option would be them to fly DOH-ORD-IAD or DOH-ORD-DCA on QR with the second leg being on an AA codeshare but as TK would not refund your money immediately, for your situation it's better to stick with TK.
