TK Lounge at MIA

The long rumoured TK Lounge in Miami has finally become a reality. There are a few photos of it available in this post. Folks who might get alarmed by a completely logical step from TK can relax though. This new lounge is located in Concourse E -- which is not connected airside to the South Terminal, from which TK operates their flights.

Not sure if there is a better thread for this ( mods feel free to move ). Recently visited TK’s lounge at MIA in Concourse H and here were some of my takeaways.

- good sized lounge with excellent views of planes at the gates ( including the walk into the lounge ).

- food offered is more of a snack and not a meal replacement.

- bar is open.

- if your flying AA for example and have a longer layover keep in mind you will have to re clear security to get to the lounge and back to AA’s concourses.

Helpful video, thanks! Did I understand the voice-over correctly (at ~0:53) that there are now 2 TK lounges at MIA?

Is there any kind of logic for having two lounges?

Both of the lounges are not operated by Turkish Airlines and TK is only owns the naming rights of the lounge at this time. They are operated by a third party company under the Turkish Airlines Lounge naming for marketing reasons.
