TK Offering x2 or x3 status miles on all routes: October 2019

I will fly ADB-IST-ESB-SAW-ADB-IST in the next days. All Flight are on one ticket.

Is it possible to checkin my luggage at the moring in ADB and receive that automaticly at last in Istanbul?

Of course carry-on baggage what be the best solution, but that is not possible in this case.

The max flights you could check through bags are 3 so you could check bags on your first ADB-IST flight, reclaim it in IST, give it to the baggage storage, pay for it and head to the departures level.
So, TK would deny checking your bags all the way for 5 flights as you exceed the max flight limit and an airport can't appear twice on a baggage tag.

Good point.

Not sure about the maximum flights though, unless this is TK-specific. There must be thousands of itineraries each day where people have more than 3 flights and manage to check in their bags.

AFAIK, for most carriers, the upper limit is 3 flights.

Thank you for all your feedback

In this case I have to handle with carry-on baggage.

Connection time is only 1:20 h and I think that could nearly impossible.

You might also try giving your baggage to storage at ADB at the beginning and checking-in before the last flight.
However, I am not sure if there is a bag storage facility at ADB.

Try checking in your baggage for the last flight only.

Just flown TBS-IST-JFK. Received my normal miles. So I'd wait till January to get my extra miles?

It seems like the first STR-IST flight has not been credited to your account or the IST-STR fare basis is giving x0.5 miles rather than x1.0 miles according to the 6944 counter.
Or, it may be the second STR-IST flight which causes a problem.

as far as I remember, there was a

4x for business and 2x for eco like 2 years ago
5x for all classes when opening IST
