I already booked a TK flight and i'm flying next week, AMS to KUL via Ataturk booked in Q class. I wonder if I qualify for this.., and how many extra miles I will get and/if it only applies to flights to and from Istanbul Yeni airport.

Makes sense... apart from #avgeeks who would want to fly that route when Ataturk options still exist...

Nope not usless.
Antalya and Ankara as example are flown once a day. A return flight in business class would normally earn you 2000 status points, but with this promotion you will earn a total of 10000 status points for every return flight.
In order to get Elite Status at Turkish Airlines Miles&Smiles program, equivalent to Star Alliance Gold, you need to earn 40000 points.
So 4 inner Turkey business class flights will already bring you the Star Alliance Gold status with this promotion. The prices on these routes can go as low as 79€, but realistically you will pay around 140€. Best way to find prices is via Google Flights.

Presumably it's 1 or 2 aircraft at ISL. Has anybody looked into the combination of routes that would have you flying all day and picking up at least 4, if not 6, segments? Ankara is midday IIRC.

Yeah, the Antalya flight flies into ISL and back out to Antalya. Ankara starts at ISL and returns there. Both around midday. Different aircraft therefore.
