EWR "resume"? The last time that I recall that TK flew from EWR it was perhaps 1996 which was not too much after it went to nonstop (and went to JFK) from previously being EWR-BRU-IST. CO/UA tried EWR for a few minutes and it did not really work out.

AFAIK, Turkish Civil Aviation Authority is still in discussian/negotiaton between the Canada Authorities for Vancouver. So far, no solid results have been obtained. It's been said that "it's a hopeful situation", though! If it's going to be a "definite NO" from the Canadian side, SEA/USA services may start soonly afterwards.
Any update on the SEA-IST route by Turkish?thx

As far as the community knows, no new destinations in the USA are planned for the movement, however, there are rumors that several destinations in the USA would receive frequency increases. IMO, they are currently negotiating with USA DOT. Otherwise, they should have been announced by now.
