E / E+ welcome/recognition on board
TK10 today: Had a FA approach me at my seat in Y and welcome me by name and E+ and told me if I needed any help with the onboard WiFi, she’d be happy to help. I thought that was a nice touch. |
Never had this happen to me (yet) as E+.

I've been acknowledged and welcomed in Y while flying on TK as an Elite.
TAP Portugal, on the other hand, put a nice card on my meal tray welcoming me as Star Alliance Gold https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...607d5f8912.png |
8 years as E+ (flying mostly on TK) and not once I got any sign of recognition, in J all the passengers are addressed by name when they hand out the menu

More than a welcome or recognition, I need to be handed a priority lane pass upon landing in BKK while traveling in Y.

Never on TK, but once I got a bag of goodies on Aegean (as TK E+).

recognition on board ? not really existent... i remember when i was etihad gold and flew on economy class, the staff knew my name and brought me a glass of champagne from the front... with turkish i hardly see any recogntion despite beeing e+...

I've been E+ essentially since it started and have never experienced or seen it. The only greetings I have ever seen were for former MP's in the first row, or pilot's families, also in the first row.
