Exactly I am sure there were plans, possibly still are plans but the state of the building (if the pictures are current) would indicate maybe new plans are required.

That's interesting, does this mean the idea for having the satellite terminal to the north has now been permanently scrapped with no possibility of its future construction?

Also, are TK not building any such facilities in the western airfield to the south of the main ATC tower which the airport has previously described as the "cargo and maintenance" area? That would surprise me somewhat.

A small aircraft hangar and a cargo center (for belly cargo?) likely to be operational before the scheduled end-October opening date

The heart of an airport terminal is arguably its baggage system. The baggage system of INA was fully installed in the second week of December 2017 (except arrival carousels & departure check-in counters which were completed at later dates). It has since underwent extensive testings and shall continue to be tested (for a total 10-month period). Hence the whole baggage system is likely to be ready for commissioning before the scheduled end-October 2018 opening date.

8 December 2017
The INA's 42-km luggage system has been completed in a record time of 24 months (from December 2015 to December 2017).

I think INA shall commence operations in end-October 2018 with Gates B, C, E, F and G (domestic) while Gates A and D will open around 6 months later (in time for the peak summer travel season).
