Baggage allotment for ticket upgraded with points
Hello all--
My husband bought an economy ticket and upgraded it to Business using points. He has had two CSRs tell him that his baggage allotment is 2, 50-pound bags, which is the allotment for economy.
Is this right!?!?
I have upgraded with points on Turkish Airlines no less than 6-8 times. I always got 2, 80-pound bags (and because I'm Elite, an additional 50-pound bag.) For me, half the point of going Business is the extra baggage allotment. Is this a new rule or something?

US baggage rules from TK new website: 2 suitcase at 32 kg (~70 lbs) each.
