Does TK open award inventory near time of departure because i need I class for a booking using UA miles on a flight from AGP to IST and all there is X Class at this time is for December

I have no experience, but don't count on it. I would book X class right away before X class disappear too.

This is a short flight so I'm sure you can survive in Y class. TK Y class is actually quite nice - you will love Do&Co flight meals

IST-Spain flights are normally operated with aircraft with real C - not the Euro-C with the same seats like in Y but slightly better service. This means the redemption bucket (IIRC it is I-class) might not re-open as the the C cabin will most likely sell with revenue tickets.

AGP-IST is indeed normaly operated with the nice C seat (like other destination on the Iberian peninsula),it is also not a bussiness destination,so its highly unlikly that the C cabin shoud sell out with revenue tickets.I travel quite often between IST and Iberian destinations,have newer seen a full C cabin.

PS. I have to respectfully disagree with geirfugl , IST-MAD and vv is quite always full...
