Turkish Airlines leaves Star Alliance Terminal in Munich

Turkish Airlines is expected to move from the T2 (*A Terminal) in Munich to the T1 C-concourse.

Is this an early sign of Turkish leaving the *A?

My sources indicate high LH handling charges and overcrowding due to LH's expansion.

Is this a temporary move until the new satellite terminal opens? Or is it perhaps part of the LH - TK dispute, e.g that Lufthansa deliberately kicked out Turkish from their "own" terminal much like they did with Qatar.

MUC airport confirmed that TK will use the Atlantic lounge at T1

That's definitely not an improvement compared wit the SEN Lounge / Cafe.

I hope they'll open their own lounge,like in FRA

I dont think that it a lose for tk any way. May be a good chance.
I do not enjoy at lh lounges at all. Can not be worser than that. But if it is really pushed by lh, which does not suprise me, I will start to think that lh management is a real evil.

Concerning the lounges. Had you ever had the pleasure to visit a RCC in the US of A ? You'll be glad to return to the SEN lounges there.

Compared to most of the *G lounges world wide,the standard for LH SEN lounges is fairly high.

A good chance to open a lounge.

After that they might pull more customers from muc.

During the last 1 year whatever we hear about tk from germany, is bad news... It is a little bit suspicous.

The lounge is UA Club quality.

The move will also increase the minimum connecting time.

There is a shuttle bus service between T1 - T2 , so one could use the LH lounges and then commute .

It is more uncomfortable though .

This is bad news. T2 is much better than T1.

One stop is at Gate A 31 IIRC.

could this TK/LH dispute be part of the reason my LH flight ex-MUC from 10 days ago still haven't accrued to M&S, whereas an AC-operated one ex-YUL on the same day already did?!?
