How would you only need 3 business class longhauls ?
Considering you need 75k to reach E+ you currently have no status with TK !? That means C class flights only earn 150%. After reaching 40k miles and Elite status you'll earn 200%.
You will need 2 OSL-IST-BKK returns alone to reach Elite status...

CAI seems to be by far the best starting point for TK J fares. I'm doing CAI-IST-KUL return for 915 euros in February... Positioning wasn't as cheap as I expected, but by doing that on TK in Y I will hit my 25k in one trip.

As mentioned BKK also seems to be really good for a long flight but highly competitive (i.e. so often cheap) fares...

ARN-IST-BKK is cheaper, and is almost the same cost per mile as CAI-IST-BKK.

Yes I made a mistake, I meant to write ARN, OSL was stuck in my head because I found a comfort class fare to LAX out of OSL for less than 1,000 euros :-D

doh! Now you said it, it was one of the best kept secrets between Europe and Asia (low cpm, comfort to achieve/maintain status while on vacations).

From NA, one could do JFK-ARN via Norwegian's Business Class. Again, it's also among the cheapest premium class across the Atlantic (once TK removes CC completely)

This might be a bit OT,but the reliability of Norwegians long haul service is actually coming to the point where its changing the norwegian language, and thats not a small acheivment for Mr Kjos

How many miles do you recieve for Osl-ist-bkk als TK Elite?
Will one roundtrip be enough to extend status as Elite recieves 200% in C?

Perhaps you can DIY

Fortunately we don't see those questions as often, on A3 board, it's just unbelievable with the amount of people looking for easy/cheap ways to get *G for nothing.
