There are two flights from BKK to IST. One is a 330 and the other is a 343. I just chose a random week in January to check.

Do they offer pajamas for ICN-IST? (12hr overnight)

And how is their catering out of foreign stations?

Considering the fact that both Kobe and Messi fly on TK, their service must be pretty darn good.

I don't think TK offers pajamas. I've never seen anyone wearing TK pajamas from J class.

I just did Business Class from IST-LAX on the 10th and they did give out sets of pajamas on this flight. Not sure if they gave out sets on the return as I decided not to upgrade that leg and instead remain in Comfort Class. As this was my first experience with Business Class I cannot speak to whether the pajama thing is new or not. For what it is worth the pajamas were black and they had the TK logo embroidered on them as well as lettering that said First Class

OMG, those are still the best pajama sets I ever saw in the air, from the former TK First Class flights. I still use mine from 2 years ago :) Very cool of TK to use them again!

Didn't they remove F a few years back? How could they still have F branded pajamas?

I was wondering that myself when they handed them out. Either they still had tons left in inventory somewhere or they just never bothered to get rid of the First Class wording as that might entail new "design" fees :)

Even if either of those sportsmen had FT accounts, I still don't know whether I'd take their word for it...

I flew TK J twice from IST-JFK, and other times in Y+. Since I can't sleep on planes anyway, and the food and IFE are the same, Y+ does it well.

Aisle access from window seats?

Just booked IST-HKG in C for next Sep using UA miles and it looks like I'm getting new biz seats on 777-300ER. I usually like looking out the window but I'm a bit worried about aisle access because the ottoman looks pretty wide. Does anyone have experience with this? FWIW, I can usually manage to step over my seatmate without waking him/her on the new UA biz seat when it's totally flat (both pmUA and pmCO).

just an FYI that the flight isn't going to be likely full anyway...book at the seat farther back to minimize chances of a companion.

Thanks, I'll try that. So this route isn't doing well?

Just flew TK20 from IST - PEK.. The service was just so so even though there were only maybe less than 10 people in C. They did not greet you by name, super slow welcome drink, the worst was no priority boarding for c customers. The seat was big and it did lie flat but not that comfortable in my opinion. The food was phenomenal tho! I liked it when they actually put a chef on board.

I think after flying with CX and JL in C, my expectation is just way too high.

I am still a bit confused about the business class seats on the 330.
What i understand is 330-300 (333) seat equals 777 seat but 2-2-2 vs. 2-3-2
340 seat is angled flat. What about the 330-200 (330)? Is it the same seat as the 330-300?

Don't know if some 332 are being refurbished,
don't know if it is the same as on A340 (but mostlikely, since both were put in service around same time).
But do know from personal experience (KIX in September12), that it is not same as 777, not lie-flat!
