Signed up for TK Miles&Smiles but should I regret this.

I signed up for the TK Miles&Smiles program about 6 months ago and just reached Elite + status. ( fly only Business Class so I collect lot of miles )
But as I’m not an Turkish resident and live in Asia I’m wondering if I will regretting signing up with TK as I also have a TG (Thai) FF card.
I had a few looks on the TK website about what I can do with my miles and came to the conclusion that outside free flights there is not much else, Because most the free goodies is only for in Turkey.
Do I something miss here ?? Can I not book for example hotel stays outside Turkey ?? ( I live in Thailand )
I thinking of claiming all my future TK flight on my TG ( Thai ) account even this can be a pain in the backside.
I tried this once and it took me 4 months to get my miles on my TG account.
Hopefully some other experiences TK flyers can give me some advise.

Using any FF programme for anything but "free" flights tends to be a waste as value tends to be terrible.

+1. OP save your money and miles for capacity controlled J awards! TK has decent earn/burn ratio and good availability to Asia.

Regarding good availability - do these book into I (same bucket as standard Star availability) ?

Yes. Capacity controlled awards books into I as do star alliance awards. In my opinion they should do modifications about that for E+.

You want hotel rooms? Join a hotel program. The few airline programs that offer such things offer no real value whatsoever.
