How soon can I check in at IST

How soon can I check in at IST
I have an upcoming flight IST-CGK.
As I am staying at a hotel in Istanbul,
I was wondering if I could go to the airport early in the morning to check in for my flight at 23:30 beforehand so that I can see around the city without having to carry heavy luggage all day long.
I guess since IST is Turkish's home base airport, I think I can check in 12 hours earlier. Am I right? Or wrong?

Aziz, check-in process start before 24h ago for your flight. But some routes needs special security formalities and they start before 2 hours ago. CGK is not kind of route which needs formality.
