Trusted Traveller
They are starting a trial period in June for the trusted traveller program. One of the airports will be DCA. Does anyone know how I can volunteer to get into the program? Would the airlines be identifying the volunteers or will TSA? Any info would be appreciated. The DL/CO Elite line at DCA is a joke so anything has to be better.

I'm interested in this program overall, but definitely need to see the fine print before jumping into the deep end. In reality and largely thanks to my DOD background, there's not much about me that the Government doesn't already have on file somewhere.

For submitting this information, or even being considered "green" by CRAPPS2, one should be able to bypass any security that law enforcement officers are allowed to.

I,too, am waiting to see what this would involve. I am already in the FBI database due to my profession, and they have a lot of personal information about me. So who cares? I doubt that there is much that they don't know.

If we didn't have the stupid TSA and the related hysterical "security measures", we would not need a Trusted Traveler program.
