Global Entry Format?

Hi,

Just got back from an international flight, but my Global Entry didn’t print at JFK. The checkin agent tried to help, no luck.

In my profile the number is listed as “GE[9digit number], eg GE123456789.

Do I need the GE-prefix or should it simply be the 9digit number?

Leave off the GE and just enter 9 digit number.

Just the number.
I have mine stored across all airlines - only issue was first time I used w/ Southwest.

Thanks all. I swear a Delta Rep told me to add GE last year, but I might be mistaken.

The KTN in the airlines' profiles are used only for issuing the PreCheck designation on boarding passes. The GE kiosks identify Global Entry members entring the United States by passport and fingerprints or by facial recognition.

Right, but this is important. Without PreCheck you can't use the PreCheck security lines (at least not in JFK).

Sorry, you wrote in your original post: "my Global Entry didn’t print at JFK." I was under the impression that the GE kiosk did not print out the slip. With the clarification, I now understand that the PreCheck designator did not appear on your boarding pass; yes, that definitely depends on the information in your airline profile and PNR.

I apologize. I have never have a problem landing and going through customs. My question pertains for my boarding pass.

So I still should list my 9-digit number with Delta as the 9-digit number, and not prefix with GE?

Nine digits only, no prefix.

What are a CBP PASSID and Known Traveler Number?

For members approved for the TSA PreCheck® Application Program, this number is 9 digits long, can be a combination of numbers and letters and typically begins with TT.

For members approved for Global Entry, NEXUS, or SENTRI, the KTN is the CBP PASSID. This nine-digit number usually begins with 15, 98 or 99 and can be found on the back of your NEXUS, SENTRI, or Global Entry card or by logging on to the Trusted Traveler Program website.
