TSA Pre to Global Entry

I have a few questions that my hours searching on the Homeland Security site have not answered

1) My wife and I have TSA Pre-Check that expires this June. It makes more sense to us to do Global Entry this time. Do I get a totally new TTP number? I can't find out how to put the current number in the profile I have to create for the website. The form I am on makes it seems like I have not ever applied for one before so I feel like I am in the wrong place.
2) We are also going to do an application for our 2 children. They don't have email addresses to make an account. Do I just make-up addresses for them or is there a different way to do it with kids?

Thanks for your help!

You will receive new KTN's when applying for Global Entry. Please refer to the following thread:
Signed up for GE and PreCheck - which KTN/PASSID to use?
As for the question about the children, it is best asked in the following thread:
Global Entry for Children/Infants
