Hi,
OP apologies for hijacking your post.
I am in a similar situation; approved for GE 6 months ago while entering on ESTA.
I’m due to visit again in a couple of weeks but I now have a B1/B2 visa and will be entering on it.
I guess my question is…………
Will I have the opportunity to enter my visa details at GE machine or should I just head straight to manned kiosk to be landed using my visa and ask for visa to be added to my GE profile there?
thanks in advance

I can’t speak for the poster above who said it sorted itself out, but I don’t believe that to be true.
I called the GE office at IAH arrivals and they told me to come into the office to get it sorted. You can’t make an appointment for this kind of thing so I had to sit and wait.
fortunately it was quiet and the officer came out within 10 mins and asked if I had an appointment. I said I needed to add my Green Card and he took the card and my passport away, having written down my pass ID number. 2 mins later he returned and it was done.
When I got home I could see the Green Card in my profile on the TTP website.

Global Entry Member Recently Received a Green Card
I have approved for global entry for few years. Recently, got my green card. Flying into EWR from India by end of this month. Wondering,
- if I can use Global entry with green card on this trip?
- If not, what I have to do to update global entry with green card info (if any)

Welcome to FT! Here is an existing thread about switching from a visa to green card for GE purposes. Congratulations on receiving it, I got mine last November and immediately applied for GE. A moderator will likely merge this thread to the one I linked.

I searched for that thread this morning and it did not come up in the search results.
I've gone ahead and merged Gaurish Sharma's question into the relevant thread.

Mom got US green card 2 weeks back
My mom has Indian passport and she got her GE approved last Dec 2021 on arrival at LAX. Being an Indian citizen on visitor visa, she did not get the physical global entry card. Fast forward almost 11 months, and now she is a US permanent resident. We walked in to LAX GE office and got her records updated to reflect she has green card. The lady at counter said she can request a physical card by going to her online account. However I don't see any option to request one. Do they mail her a card automatically?

No, I didn't get a card when I transitioned from visa to GC and the option is not there to request one(even with a payment). Someone else here managed to raise a ticket after several tries to get his profile fixed - I gave up. Card is not required and she can get state ID/real ID if needed(even real ID is no longer required till 2025).

For the person you mentioned, regardless of having a card or not, they need to get an officer to update the profile with their GC(you don't need an appointment for this). I was able to do it on arrival at JFK - stood in normal GC line(don't use the kiosks) and asked the officer - he said I was lucky he was trained on GE and did it for me. I see my A# reflected on my account. I don't care much for the card itself, I can wait to my renewal(next year)

I got my profile updated, which was easy.
The frustration of not having a card is if you use Canadian airports, as you need a card to get into the GE line. Thankfully I was with a colleague who had his card.
I might try and get it updated, as having the card might save some hassle at some time in the future.

What is the Process to update the Global Entry program once we get the Green card. I recently (6 months) back got Global Entry while on Visa. Is there any option to update the Global Entry on Return entry to US with Green Card information or do I need to take appointment to update this information.
