My cousin is still waiting from May 24th app for renewel.

He just told me he realised in his housing he might have accidently left a one month gap, as he put he left one home on 01/2009 but didn't start the next until 02/2009 whereas the others go from the same month like 01/2009 to 01/2009. No idea yet.

If it makes you (or them) feel better, I don't have a house listed technically from the time I was born until the time I was 2.

Well for me, I have multiple homes in multiple countries which caused a few questions during the initial interview 5 years ago. Back in teh day for the old TS check it took quite the extra pages and time during the interview to go over everything, but OPM never wanted a gap in living, even if one was deployed in the military or a student or somehow doing a summer camp or something like that.

I don't think CBP is that bad, especially since mine went through with no problems, but we were just trying to figure out, other than bureaucracy, what could cause a somewhat-non-standard delay.

When I completed my initial application about two weeks ago, I vaguely recall the application only requiring prior addresses if you have not been living at your existing address for a certain number of years. I don't recall what that number was--something like 5 or 10 years.

Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that 60,000 applications were received for GE in May, and that the average was 15,000 per month at the end of 2012. That might explain a longer wait time as of late.

As others have said, keep checking availability. It changes, honestly, like every 10 minutes. I went, in the span of an hour, from two weeks, to 4 days out, to the next day out (which is tonight).
