Clear at JFK

Clear at JFK
It’s been a while since I’ve flown from JFK. I see that Clear is only at T4. But my flight departs from T8. Am I able to go to T4 for Clear and transfer to T8?
I also have Pre-Check and am hopeful that the T4 Clear/Pre-Check is setup like at my home airport (SFO). There, both programs are next to each other and Clear members tend to even by-pass PreCheck queued members.
Otherwise, it’s over to T8 and use Pre-Check.
