Did age qualification for PreCheck end?

My husband and I are both over 75. The last time we traveled, only I got Pre Check status and I didn’t realize he didn’t. One minute he was behind me, and the next he was gone. It took a while but I finally realized he had to go to different line.

https://www.tsa.gov/travel/special-p...s-75-and-older While according to TSA’s website there are still special arrangements available for seniors I don’t see where it necessarily says or means PreCheck. It sounds more like what some call PreCheck lite in a regular line rather than full up PreCheck. Even PreCheck for passengers eligible through the various Trusted Traveler programs is not absolutely guaranteed.
