Related Q. Any experience of a situation when you forgot to update your new passport details for your GE membership and kiosk rejecting you? If you have your GE card on you, are you allowed to go the front of the line? YMMV situation?
No one's checking at most GE locations - if you're rejected for that reason, I'd go to the GE line and explain that you must have failed to update the passport. Maybe they'll clear you; maybe they'll send you to the regular line. You do still have GE, so it's not "cheating" - it's just oversight on your part.
But be prepared for the ire of the other GE pax forced to wait for you to sort things out.
