Does display of KTN more or less mean that GE approval is imminent?
 

Hi all,

While at the current moment my application for GE is still pending, I noticed that when logged in, my PASSID number displays under my name on the dashboard. Does this more or less mean approval is imminent? Or is it just for TSA Pre-Check? Or does it auto-generate when you signup/register/apply for GE?

You might want to have a MOD move this to the other thread in which you are already posting as it will keep your information in one place on the same topic.

The fact that a PASSID has been assigned means nothing one way or the other. You could be conditionally approved or denied.

Unless you have also applied for TSA Pre-Check, GE has nothing to do with that. If you are ultimately approved for GE, your GE KTN will also get you Pre-Check, but there are no half measures, e.g., you apply for GE and get Pre-Check but not GE.
