Nor should she ever need a card.
While there are some rare occasions when CBP has asked to see a GE card to admit one to the machine areas at YYZ for GE/Nexus, the card sits in a backup envelope in my backpack with a second CC, and some spare cash and serves as backup ID in case my Passport and DL are lost or stolen.

Please continue any discussion of the need for or the use of the GE card in that thread.
Thank you,

Not received Global Entry card yet
I applied for, and was successfully approved for GE in earlier this year and in May had an interview with TSA at EWR that I passed. Should I have received a physical card for GE by now?

Have they stopped doing the demo why you have the interview? They walked me over the a fake machine to show me how. When you arrive you look for the special GE lane, then put in your passport in the machine and follow the onscreen instructions. A receipt will print out and if you don't have an X you just go right to the people at the exit and your done.

You don't need a card to use GE. Same thing for access to Pre-Check when flying out of a US airport.
There are certain uses for a GE card, but none that relate directly to GE or Pre-Check.

How long to receive physical Global Entry card UK?
I passed my GE interview back at the start of November. Just wondering how long it took folk ion the UK to get their cards in the post? The Interviewer said it took US folk 8 days to get their cards. With it being the UK it would probably take a bit longer. I think 8 weeks is a "bit" longer than 8 days now lol. How long did it take you?
