You can check for interview availability (without needing to be logged in) at TTP - Schedule Appointment
This page includes a checkbox you can use to show locations with the soonest availability, although they tend to be few in number and near border towns.
You may also wish to consider:
Note also that a location that has literally zero availability for future interviews today, may pop up with available slots tomorrow (or even later today), presumably as people with scheduled appointments do EOA or walk-in thus freeing up their original time slot. So it may be worth checking back periodically.

You may also wish to consider:
- Enrollment on Arrival, which can be done while clearing immigration during international return to the US: Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival
- Some locations offer walk-in interviews even if you do not have an appointment: Global Entry Walk-In Interviews
- If you will be passing through MIA, their GE office nearly always has immediate availability and is open very late.

No GE interview appointments available at RIC - what's the scoop?
Hi all,
I'm in the process of applying for GE for myself and my family. We've all been conditionally approved, but when I go to try to schedule an interview at RIC they show no available appointments through June of 2019 (when we would need the GE for a family trip to HKG). I can't seem to find anything that would indicate that the RIC enrollment center is anything but normally operating. Does anyone here have any info? Should I just plan on making the trek up to the enrollment center at IAD?

1. Check daily for cancellations during their office hours
2. Change enrollment center to Washington-Dulles International Airport as you mentioned
3. Do a walk in at Ronald Reagan building in D.C. at 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW. Reported success rate is 100%.
Good luck. Please come back and update us.

I merged your question into the thread discussing GE interview appointments availability.
Take a look at @JAGorham's post from last month, it probably answers your question.
RIC has very spotty availability; I think it's listed as a seasonal facility. I managed to get a mid-August appointment (about 7 weeks out from approval), but when I looked later on for potential earlier dates, everything was filled up. IAD has some pretty quick availability right now, about a week out.

Folks,
Please let's back on topic. That is appointments availability for Global Entry final approval interviews.
Please discuss the time limits to log onto the the TTP website and schedule an interview in the thread referenced above by @1KChinito.

I was curios to see what openings there were for JFK; the calendar shows EVERY* day for the next TWO months (even today) has openings.^ [When I renewed in 2014, there were only a few open dates.]
*Labor Day, Sept. 3, was blocked.

Fairbanks interview availability in September
My partner was trying to schedule an interview in Fairbanks when we visit in September, but the system is showing nothing after August 31 (before that it's wide open). Does the enrollment center at FAI close after August? Or is it just that they haven't updated the availability yet?

@TWA884 and @1KChinito, thank you for your replies. I noticed that ANC was listed as the only option for AK, but FAI does show up in the scheduler and is wide open. I will try calling them Monday.
Update: sent an email to the address listed on the CBP website. Now seeing availability in FAI for the rest of the year.

I'm getting very frustrated trying to get an appointment for my wife and me after finally getting conditional approval. Online, the Denver site (the only one remotely close to home) shows " " No appointments available for this location" . I tried calling, but all you get is a recording. I emailed my concern, but I just get back canned responses saying that if I can't get an apporintment in the desired time frame to try to call the EC. It's a never-ending circle.
