I would imagine if you add your API to the airline booking ahead of the flight, that is how they will know when you are next due to enter. The airline shares your API with the authorities.

This seems to be the trend.

With all due respect, there are people who have been waiting a lot longer than six months. I was particularly talking about the trend where people were being given Conditional Approval shortly before their flights. Given more recent applicants seem to be getting approval now with no immediate flights, maybe CBP is just catching up with the backlogs - I'd expect many of the UK applications go to the same vetting center in the US.

UK Border Force Code provided - 10 March 2022
Applied for GE via TTP site - 10 March 2022
Conditional Approval - 7 July 2022
Expected date of next arrival in the USA: 17 August 2022

Now problem is to work out if DFW (Dallas Airport) allows walk ins without an appointment. It seems that they close at 3pm but our flight lands at 5pm and there are no bookable appointments online.

Enrollment on Arrival is available at immigration in Terminal D until 6PM, so if your flight is on time you should be OK for that.

Let me just add, in case that Yanshuf is unaware, that no appointments are necessary for EoA:

Please refer to the wikipost in the following thread:

Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival
Enrollment on Arrival is a program operated by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) to allow Global Entry applicants who are conditionally approved to complete their interviews upon arrival into the United States. The Enrollment on Arrival program eliminates the need for a Global Entry applicant to schedule an interview at an enrollment center to complete the application process.

When landing in an international terminal follow the signage directing you to CBP officers who can complete your Global Entry interview during your admissibility inspection. You wont need any additional documents other than the requisite documents for international travel (e.g., your passport).

Yes, thanks for that reply TWA884. Your quote there was about enrolling upon landing from an international flight. That option will not be available for us as we will land at 5pm and it seems that the enrollment on arrival services cease at 3pm at DFW. That is why I am wondering about the possibility of getting enrolled the following day (without an appointment) by simply walking into the relevant part of DFW.

The CBP Enrollment on Arrival page lists the hours of operation at DFW as 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

I do not recall seeing any reports, recent or old, of successful walk-in interviews at DFW in the Global Entry Walk-In Interviews thread, however, if necessary, it never hurts to try.

P.S. I just realized what your username is ינשוף.

UK Citizen
UK Background application, March 3rd, 2022. Approval in about 2 hours.
GE Application, March 4th, 2022
Conditional approval, July 3rd, 2022. No travel booked but plenty planned in the next 3 months.

Do I just show up for enrollment at entry next time I fly to the USA or must I book an appointment? Looking at available appointments, it looks very sparse.

Have the entry procedures changed ? Arrived at JFK T7 yesterday and was told just to scan face then goto counter to hand in the piece of paper.

Use to ask to scan the passport or they just do that by face recognition now ?

Thanks
