Good idea - I've just dropped Larry an email. See whether he has any ideas about how long we need to wait.

I actually did that on Friday, asking very politely - haven't had a response from him, so I suspect the processing really is not his area at all.

Ditto - I emailed over the weekend although got an out of office saying he wasn't back until Monday so he might have a backlog of code request emails that he returned to!

I actually emailed him ages ago and he did reply (after a week as was out of the office)

His reply was you have been conditionally approved - then the goes email came through. Maybe just coincidence but anyway!

Just in case I get provisional approval while I am in the US next week, what additional documentation do they ask for at the interview (in addition to the ACRO)?

I believe you just need your passport. I'm in a similar situation and have also brought my driving licence as I need it anyway for my hire car!

Slightly different since the following involves UK citizens resident in the US, but some UK citizens have been asked to bring proof of residence/residential address (of at least one residence even if having multiple residences) and had the ACRO too.

Letter, ACRO and passport(s) are the ones they will usually want to see if the UK citizen is resident in the UK but not in the US.

I confirm that it is important to take a proof of address together with the ACRO letter + passport to the interview

Wirelessly posted (Blackberry8700c: Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 4.2.2; GT-I9505 Build/JDQ39) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/31.0.1650.32 Mobile Safari/537.36)

Larry is now out of codes he says. Anyone have a spare they won't be using before end of year? I have a colleague desperate for one. Cheers
