Doha International Airport is listed as an enrollment centre, as is Schippol, which is the closest for the UK.

That would be perfect. Can you provide the link which states this?

I can Confirm that schiphol is on the list offered to me when choosing a date. But weirdly the only dates I can book are 16-20 Sept. Will need to figure out its opening patterns.

Thanks. Be nice to be able to register somewhere over here and then be able to breeze through LAX.

any idea how long it takes between applying and getting an appointment?

I'll be in LAS in a couple of weeks for a few days and thinking about doing it if I have time, and can get the uk paperwork sorted in time...

The only place I see Doha listed is in the scheduling tool itself, so I can't link to it unfortunately, but it is there.

Once you get the conditional approval, how far in advance can you book the appointment for usually?

I believe it has to be made within 30 days, for no more than 90 days hence.

Thanks, I started reading the ACPO form and realised I have no idea of my addresses when I lived in Scotland until I was 8!

This appears to vary considerably between sites. LAX was roughly Oct-Dec. Others (eg Doha) are booking from Sept to March.

Is a disclosure scotland suitable for the police check? I had one done around a year ago and still have the certificate.
