Must be a limit for them to give out a code maybe. It was of no consequence when getting the promo code from Mr Panetta and i was not asked at the interview.

UK to join Global Entry program

All the effort and wait around the application is worth the wait. I had a trial code a year ago, this week I landed in Houston the queue for immigration looked like a healthy 60mins+ yesterday. I am glad to say I was in the hotel downtown within 45 mins of landing thanks to GE! At a conservative calc I personally have saved at least 10 hours of standing in queues over the last twelve months!

The embarrassment is that we can't offer a reciprocal setup in the UK in return.

I don't think I have ever read 11 pages of a thread as fast as I just read this one. I've already been on the phone to BA who gave me a promotional code within minutes. Thank you to everyone who has participated in this thread - I don't know how I missed it!

This is going to make travel to the US so much easier - I feel like celebrating!

Thanks again!

And as if by magic, it arrived today
Application completed online. Now just waiting for the US authorities.

OK - I'm dumb!

I got a nine character code from BA for Global Entry, but can't find where on the CBP website you actually start the application - help!

Thanks in advance, and sorry if it's blindingly obvious and I just can't see it.....

And thereafter you can put in your promotional code. You then need to enter in details, including your ACPO or (judging from what my English grandmother did) your Disclosure Scotland number, but you can can fill it in piecemeal. She's getting her GE interview in Las Vegas of all places!
