I received my UK access code, but was wondering how long this is actually valid for, before I need to use it for the application? My existing Global Entry is still valid until Nov 2021, and not sure when my next trip to the US will be to be able to do the interview...

Feb 2020 - Received background check result from UK Border Force, provided to DHS. GE portal states 'pending review'
December 2020 - status changed to approved on GE portal and shows as live. No re-interview required.

I received conditional approval today after 222 days (July 10th). This is my first renewal so the process is all new to me.
I was notified via email despite what the website says about there being no email notification.
The letter I downloaded from the portal advises using Enrolment on Arrival unless "for some reason you cannot" in which case an interview should be booked.

Hi folks, looking to tap into knowledge pool on this one, particularly anyone who has an understanding of application process for UK citizen.
This relates to my wife’s application for GE. We both applied on same day in October 2019, my conditional approval came through okay around 8 months later.
Around a couple of months after her application she was notified of a change of status, when she checked it online she found out her profile personal details had been overwritten by someone else completely different. Details of this other person were very similar, dob was identical, first and middle names were the same and family name was very, very similar. However, address and nationality were different. (The other person was US citizen)
We were in the US at the time so my wife did approach CBP at local airport office, but they couldn’t help and suggest she raise a case online, which she did. The help desk eventually got back to her late January 2020 and advised all resolved and she was back in line awaiting conditional approval. Her online profile was back as it was on original application and all looked good.
Fast forward to now and no progress on her application, so she emailed CBP using “ask a question” page online. She got an email reply in a matter of hours advising that her “application had been processed by US and is currently waiting on home country to submit information to CBP”,........”please reach out to your government customs or immigration body and make sure they enter information into the system.......”
We are not really sure where to go with this now?? She originally had her security check done and submitted the code provided by the UK security authorities on her application. We are not aware of any further requirement for us to get involved?? I do believe some other nationalities need to have their security data input by home country, India is one I think, but didn’t think that this was a requirement for UK citizens??
Is there anyone who has on insight as to how the process works able to suggest what may have gone wrong here or any suggestions on how best to rectify?
thank in advance

I had exactly the same thing zanderblue , the UK took forever to do mine. I think it was something like 10 months in the end.
Edit - No, was actually nearly 12 months in the end. This was what another poster suggested for me (I emailed them, got no response, never had a chance to phone them).

I suppose you could always try ringing the UK Government switchboard on 020 7035 4848 and ask to be put through to GE at the Home Office, or try e-mailing the Home Office public contact e-mail (which does work as I have used it before on a different matter) at:

Had 3 renewals for myself, wife and daughter.
Wife was renewed without need for interview.
Daughter and I both have conditional.
Went to check if anything in London (there isn't) however saw a new Remote option but nothing seems to be available at the moment, new service? Not seen anything online about it. BTW Remote does not show for my daughter so looks like they need her to physically turn up (she was 2 when she got it so probably need new pics that can't be done over zoom).
Thanks

Global Entry to US
Hi
If you are a retired person and apply for Global Entry to the US are you likely to be accepted. What is the acceptance criteria apart from making multiple trips to the US. ?
Many thanks for your assistance.

I don't think they care if you've never made a single trip to the US. I doubt you'll have any issues unless you have a criminal record / links to extremism etc.
