The most recent edit to the CBP website does seem to support this theory. It currently says, “Due to a seasonal increase in applications, you can expect your application for Global Entry... to be processed within 11 weeks.”

Helpful datapoints @CTV & @Discovery Bay - hoping I'll heard in another 3 weeks in that case!

Just as a quick update; I now have mine and my two daughters conditional approval through. I’m still waiting for my wife’s although she did apply 3 days after me due to it taking a few days for her UK Border Force code to arrive. She applied on 12 March (I applied on 9th) and is still waiting. It was 79 days today. Hopefully, conditional approval will arrive this evening or tomorrow. That would fit with the 80 days others have been waiting.

I applied on 2nd April, my wife on 3rd April, still at 'wait for conditional approval'.
It's currently 95 days for me (94 days for my wife). Should we be worried? We've raised 'complaints' in case it helps.
We don't need it until mid-August, so perhaps it could be being treated as low priority?
Afters submitting my complaint, is said "Our average response time for emails is about 10-15 business days".
Is it better to phone then?

Hello @apwood,
Welcome to FlyerTalk.
Your wait times are consistent with what's been recently reported by a significant number of US citizens and lawful permanent residents in the Global Entry - processing timelines of first time applications [US citizens & LPR's] and Global Entry Renewal threads. Unfortunately, that seems to be the new normal.

We are a mixed nationality family, both US came through in 98 and 99 days, both of the US applied on 1 April, the UK application was on 2nd April and still pending at 101 Days as of this post. We need to be sorted by mid-August so we can interview all on the same day when we go to the US.
