Nexus Applicant Dec 2019
I submitted my NEXUS application on Dec 24, 2019, and haven't received any update yet. I have a Canadian PR (Indian Born) and stayed in the US for 4.5 years for school and work. Can anyone help me when I can receive conditional approval?

Add 245 days from 24 Dec 2019, which will be Tuesday, August 25, 2020.
Good luck.

Amazed at these long timelines. I applied for my Nexus December 2018, right before the US shutdown. Luckily I was conditionally approved late January 2019, and had the interview March 2019. Feeling for everyone who has to wait this long due to the pandemic..

My wife and I applied on the same evening (2019-10-17), within half an hour of each other. Both of us are U.S. citizens who recently moved to the Vancouver, BC, area from California. Both are already enrolled in Global Entry. My wife received her conditional approval in about two months (mid-December 2019), while I received mine on 2020-06-09 (or 235 days from application).

I was scheduled to interview in Downtown Vancouver December 8th. This would be within the 485 days that are required from conditional approval date. Now I just got an email saying it will not be reopening when others do. My account has reset and it says I must schedule before August 22, 2020 or else my application will be deleted. There are no dates left at Blaine, WA (no appointments at all and haven't been any in a while) and Vancouver Airport that are within the 485 days. What do I do now?

I should have said when available. My point was Blaine is an option, not just Canadian enrollment centers.

i was mentioning that there are no options, we are all in the same boat, and they will continue to push it out allowing us not to expire or make us re-apply. We will never know until the Government decides .
yea I have a appointment in mid sept for YVR but will have to reschedule if the board is not opened up because I’m not gonna wait for 14 days in Vancouver and be quarantined.
I honestly think they’re gonna be doing this month to month though in August they’re gonna say September it’s going to be staying close till and I said I don’t see it opening maybe till next year though I’m hoping in August everything opens up.
sadly (or not) we are all in the same boat so lucky not just one person so they will have to do something for all.

Reached out to CBP to check on the delays. I received the following reply. seems like 8 months are now converted to 9 months of delay.
We are currently experiencing a backlog in processing times. Processing times vary by applicant, but on average you can expect your application to be processed as follows:
• GE & NEXUS: 9 months
• SENTRI: 12 months or longer
