Houston Central Library
Just took my 9 month old twins to the Houston Central Library as walk ins & were in/out in an hour. We got there a few minutes after 10 am, he saw all of the people with appointments first & a woman with her 2 year old daughter (who were also a walk in). Once we were in it took all of 5-10 min! Definitely recommend.

PHL Slot Walk-In??
Hello all - received my 'CA' today hoooray! The soonest availability at PHL is 24 July 2017, but I leave on my trip 21 July 2017.
I will try the refresh when sitting at my desk, but wanted to check in again to find out if anyone who has used PHL within the last 30 days or so or even anecdotally, how much quicker were you able to get an appointment or were you able to do a walk in with a reasonable wait time (less than one hour or so)?
I Am thinking of trying evenings after 6p as a target time to walk in?

Just to be on the safe side, be prepared to wait for upwards of an hour. Bring a book to keep you entertained/busy because if my memory serves me right, the use of phones are not allowed in the waiting area.

On 18th only one walk-in seen from 4pm to 11pm (office short staffed; only 2 officers on duty I think, vs 4 the following morning)
On 19th I was 4th person seen having arrived at 7.30, there were at least 8 on the list by 8.30 (i.e. they definitely didn't have a 6-person limit; there was room for at least 20 names on the list)
NB on 18th they were seeing anyone with an appointment (even if they were 3 hrs early) before looking at walk-in list. On 19th they appeared to be taking 1 walk-in and 3 appointments for every 15 minute block.

You might want to update the JFK Wiki to note the pop-up location at Penn Station. Not really walk-up, but presumably someone with a far out interview at JFK can reschedule to Penn Station.

Apparently JFK no longer acceptes walk-ins
Tried 6/15 6pm and 6/16 8am
After signing in, a agent would come out and call everyone who indicates as walk-in that it's by appointment only form now on.
