I applied for myself (US citizen) on Feb. 8, 2020, 291 days ago. I just got off the phone with them and all they said is "wait times of 10 months or more...keep checking back"

Maybe I wasn't paying attention but this is news to me:
Your application for the Trusted Traveler Program has been conditionally approved. You will need to complete enrollment within 730 days of the date of conditional approval.

Ms. LincolnJKC applied for GE on Sunday, February 2nd at about 10am [We were waiting for a flight together and the 45 minute wait for her to clear security after I walked through Pre was the straw that broke this impatient camel's back I bought it for her as a gift from the holdroom. Romantic, right? :P ]
Anyway she just sent me a screenshot of her conditional notification from this morning (313 days later) showing the 730 day deadline... and she has her interview scheduled for tomorrow afternoon... She said "DCA" but given that DCA doesn't look like it has a GE enrollment center I'm assuming she meant the Ronald Reagan building... which is about a 15 minute walk from our DC apartment.

hi, this is a stupid question, but do they send you an email when you get CA? or do you have to log on to TTP to check?
Also just to add my data, US citizen applied GE Feb 12th 2020 and am pending review, so 303 days and counting, from the latest CA's on long apps, I'm hopeful something will happen within the next month.
Thanks to all for the info in this thread.

It's not a stupid question. Most here reported receiving email notifications of change in the status of their applications. That's been my personal experience. Some have reported that they did not receive the notification and found out when they logged in to their TTP account.
