And it is finally over - GE approved and card arrived!
Was not able to do Interview on Arrival on Sep-13 (landed too late) but they have just re-opened so i scheduled interview for Sep-23-2020,Chicago
downtown. After arriving there, was told they had "emergency closure" that day and i need to reschedule it. Fortunately, was able to do so for Oct-7-2020. Interview was quick and easy, got approved in few hours and card arrived about a week later.

Applied: Aug-26-2019
CA: Apr-17-2020
Approved: Oct-7-2020

Total: 408 days

GregorSamsa: By now you should have received the status change of your application since the applications that were made around the time as yours are being approved. Hoping you received a response. I am a week behind you waiting with crossed fingers. Good luck.

The most recent datapoints right above show that the processing time has moved towards 315 days (~10.5 months)

did covid screw up interviews so they suspended acceptances for a certain period of time ?

was very fast for me [not recently] only europe and north america travel history (boring vs most FTers) , was able to get a same day appointment due to a cancellation.

The enrollment centers were closed between March 19 and September 8. Very few applications were processed during that time.

Please refer to the following thread for additional inforamtion:This thread is for discussing application approval timelines, when did you apply and when did you receive your conditional approval?

Not sure why yours is delayed. It looks the applications filed in Dec 2019 are being processed. Maybe you need to follow up?

No, I don’t think the delay is due to being a foreign national. I have seen in the posts here where applicants have made calls. If you read the previous posts you might fin the number. Hope this helps.

My husband called (877) 227-5511. He was on hold a long time but eventually got through. He was told there is an 11-month turn around time now. By calling, you can at least verify that you are in the system. They no longer do expedites.

At least before the COVID-19 pandemic, walk in interviews were offered at several enrollment centers. Those are different than Enrollment on Arrival interviews.

Thanks for the number. I called and found out that it is indeed because I am a foreign national. Global Entry now seems to need verification of the German Federal Police and it seems to be stuck there for some reason. But the US side already approved, so hopefully, this resolves itself soon.

Oh sorry. Didn’t think that would matter for citizens.
