Applied June 28th... still pending review. 186 days (over 6 months). I called and got through on 877-227-5511 (i called right at 8:30am). She said that the average wait time is 6 months, and they are making June applicants their priority; however, there is nothing she can do until it has been at least 8 months. She said to keep waiting and call back at 8 months to see what my options are.

I applied the same day you did, and I also called today. After explaining my situation, the call center person began with, “You’re not going to like my answer.” He then gave the same information about the six- to eight-month wait, and there was nothing he could do. So I thanked him for his time and concluded, “You’re not going to like my answer. I will be contacting my Congressman's office to ask the constituent services folks to escalate it.”

Can you please share the link to send an email? The only links I can find are Submit a Complaint or Submit a Compliment.

Moderator's Note
Folks,
It is time for this periodic reminder.
The Trusted Travelers forum is informational. Members come here in search of data points and practical advice about applying for and using the various Trusted Travelers programs.
This thread is for keeping track of processing timelines of first time Global Entry applicants.
Please limit your postings here to seeking and providing practical information, and sharing news, experiences and data points about Global Entry applications approval timelines, and save your opinions, commentary and rants for the Policy Debate forum.
While some limited natural deviation from the topic is obviously acceptable, please let's keep the focus of this thread on reporting approval times.
Thank you for understanding,

Applied 8-12-19, yup, just waiting...
Applied August 12, 2019 for a trip on October, 2019. Joke was on me due to the wait times... 11 weeks they said and now it’s 6+ months? Another trip coming up mid February 2020 and I have little faith I’ll make any progress in getting an interview much less getting approved by then... still waiting... what can you do?

Over 179 days
Applied for my newborn baby as soon as we received her passport on July 7th. Still waiting. (as of 1/2/2020, 179days from initial application)
All family members already have the cards (applied 2 years ago)
How should I escalate? Email? any phone...
Is "186 days" still the magic number?

I applied June 30 and my wife on July 1. One day letter she received CA and a month or so later conducted her interview. Me? I'm still waiting. I called two weeks ago and received, well, it was like speaking with an unemotional computer. I sent an email the following day......and a day or two later received their "form letter" response. Also sent at that time was a link for a customer service survey, but the initial prompts were completely unrelated to my situation.
Fortunately, I'm not travelling overseas in the near future, but I'd be grateful if CBP provided more recent updates AND rather than a random approach to their application kiosks.......used a FIFO approach.
Am I asking for too much?
