Not sure if there is any rhyme or reason to the way CBP processes these applications. A renewal (lapsed for 3 months) was submitted back in July... still stuck waiting for conditional approval. Friend applied back in October, and got conditional approval within 2 weeks. Makes no damn sense...

Applied on 4/12, still waiting.

I'm probably wasting as much time checking the web site every few days for an update as waiting in line at TSA/immigration.

For a U.S. passport holder, this would be unusual. Are you applying for GE holding another passport?

Actually, there are several recent reports in this thread of applicants receiving conditional approval after 150+ days.

I am still waiting -- currently at 152 days.

When I applied back in June the website had issues. I had to enter my US Passport twice as otherwise I could not click on submit.

If I am interpreting this post correctly, this person applied for renewal in April, which would be approaching 200 days. I suspect this poster is a non-US passport holder.
