Have you considered Global Entry Enrollment on Arrival? You can complete your enrollment interviews when you reenter the US.
==== I just checked, they closed at 9 at LAX. The 9.30pm at LAX is the landing time, so yeah won't make it.

I just need to vent, scream, yell and kick and punch something …. still no CA for boyfriend !!!!!
02.10.19 - applied
05.30.19 - called nearest GE Enrollment Center - 'Yes, we see your application, but cannot do anything about it'
05.31.19 - submitted an online 'complaint'
06.03.19 - called 1-877-227-5511 number and the person 'escalated' the issue ('current wait times for resolution is 3-4 weeks)
Today marks 120 days (17 weeks and 1 day)
I went ahead and scheduled my interview after ONE (1) slot opened up after none being available. Wanted to do both at the same time, but who knows when he'll get his CA.

You can escalate by phone once 11 weeks hits, which is 77 days. If you scroll about 2 pages you can find the phone number and prompts that you need to select and they will open a ticket for you. I did it too. Hope that helps.

I wonder why some people get CA within 2 weeks while others have to wait for months.
I am guessing that those who have to wait for more than 2 weeks go through a manual process because the software triggered a manual review for some reasons. I am just guessing.
I am assuming GE does a name check with the FBI. If this is true, then this name check process takes so long for some people who have very common name.

Not to rub it in, but
Applied: 6/4/19
Conditionally Approved: 6/10/19
Will do Enrollment on Arrival in Early July.
Don't know if it makes any difference, but US citizen, and have had multiple entries into the US this year, and multiple international trips with my passport number entered remaining in the year.
