Exclamation Moderator's Note: Topic Drift

This thread is about processing timelines for first time Global Entry applications. While some natural deviation from the topic of the thread is perfectly fine, please let's keep the focus of the discussion on how long it takes to receive conditional approval after applying for Global Entry.

For indexing and future search purposes, please discuss availability of Global Entry enrollment interview appointments in the dedicated thread:Posts have been moved to that thread.

Thank you for understanding,

Can’t find CA letter

First time applicant. I was given conditional approval 2 days after I applied. There are appointments in my area for this week that I want to sign up for. But I can’t locate the conditional approval letter on my account? Where is it found? Or does it come in the mail? If it’s online and I still can’t find it, what do I do?

Welcome to FlyerTalk Sportsatty!

How did you receive the notification of the conditional approval? I suspect that it the "letter." When I first applied for Global Entry, my dashboard had a link to a PDF of the conditional approval notification.

Practically speaking, all that you need is your KTN (Known Traveler Number) or CBP PASSID number which should show on your dashboard.

Applied on Aug. 27, still pending review.
No foreign travel, tons of domestic travel.
Answered yes to arrested (as a juvenile), never was charged but I'm guessing it put me on the long-track.

Newly-minted LPR. Applied for Global Entry on 9/10, conditional approval - 9/14 and completed the interview today (10/4).

I'm curious, do we still have many people waiting for 10-12 months? The "long track" timeline until the conditional approval seems to be 1-2 months according to the latest posts.

My wife, myself and my infant son all applied for GE on the same day on 8/22. My wife and son received their CA on 8/24. I didn't receive mine until 10/6. Here's the really strange part. We all flew domestically from ALB to ABQ on 10/6. No sooner did I get off the plane at ABQ, checked my email and my CA came through. Weird coincidence?

Quick CA. Appt Months Away

I applied for GE, for my daughter on 10/11 (just received passport renewal and never had Pre-Check). CA was 10/13 but she can’t get an appointment until May 4, 2022 in ATL! Appointments were within a week when I got mine on Father’s Day 2021!

UPDATE: I kept checking daily and there was ONE opening at EWR on 11/27. Since we will be there for the holidays, this will work out perfectly!! It pays to keep checking!

My wife and I both applied in June. She got her CA in about a day. Got my CA in about 3 weeks.

Both interviewed in SFO on 10/17. Both were told we were approved.

Wife got email notification and TTP update on website about 10 minutes after the interview. 24 hours later and my profile still says "pending interview approval". Should I be worried about my status? I guess processing times are different for everyone...

Could be due to any number of reasons. The most common is that someone forgot to click on the "approve" button.
