Going to schedule my interview soon, and will update my post upon final approval & receiving membership card.

Note: "Your application for the Trusted Traveler Program has been conditionally approved. You will need to complete enrollment within 730 days of the date of conditional approval."
Remark: "Schedule your appointment as soon as possible. If you do not select an appointment date by Wednesday, January 18, 2023, your application will be deleted from the system. You will be required to resubmit your application and pay the application fee again."

Want to schedule interview at BWI, but cannot find dates at all for random dates for rest of the year. Is BWI enrollment not accepting interviews? Played around for half an hour.

From many FT postings over many months, there still appear to be two approval timeframes. Approximately half of applications are approved quickly (perhaps one week) and the other half of applications take a long time (this "long" bucket had been approaching 10-11 months, but apparently may now be about five months - plus or minus). It is apparently completely random which approval track that any particular application will land - it does not appear to depend upon any characteristics of the applicant or application.

You cannot make those changes/corrections online; you will have to do those during the enrollment interview.

Please refer to the following threads:

Update on my Global entry application status.

Applied January 10, 2020.
CA November 2020
Interviewed: April 13, 2021

Delay in interviews because my local enrollment center didn’t open for interviews until this week. I was checking everyday and finally last night I found several openings for the next 10 days.

Good luck to all that are waiting. Thank you for this site and to all those that contributed to the thread. It helped me to get through the wait time and was well prepared for the interview. Received the approval email in 40 minutes.

Global Entry Delay Resolved

I finally got my global entry it took me almost about 12 months. It’s another bureaucratic snafu. Figures.

(1 day, 6 hours, 40 minutes)

Trying to think of points that could explain the quick turnaround compared to others posting...

I did not have TSAPre or other government/security affiliations.
I have recently (<30 days) flown through a few International Airports (NC and TX), but for domestic flights.
I did use a major bank debit card in my name.
I did have a Logon.gov account for a while.
I do hold a current firearm permit (VA) - Required a background check.
I have had previous medical and local/state government interactions in the past 2 decades (normal business).
My information and background were complete and should be easily verifiable (long term phone numbers, addresses, work history, matching credit history, tax info, etc).
Age is late 30s, US Citizen from birth.
I don’t think any of what you have mentioned matters. There have been folks working for federal and those had all that you have listed on this form who wasn’t as lucky as you. In my opinion, you applied at the correct moment that pushed your application to the fast service side.

I applied for GE today (April 17, 2021). Will update once I get the CA. 🤞🏼 I should have applied earlier but I didn’t realize that permanent residents were eligible.

Here is another DP -

Applied - 2/21/21
CA - 4/19/21

Looks like the backlog is being whittled down. They are now down to 2 months which seems normal (other those lucky next day/week CAs).
