I applied December 1, 2019 so 8 months would be August 1, 2020 (Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul). I was told today that the month you apply does not count so I have to wait until September 1 before they will look into it.

I have an update, but its not the one we want. As of today I have been waiting 9 months so I called CBP and they opened up an investigation. The agent told me it will take anywhere from 1-4 weeks to complete my investigation so I am back to the waiting game.

SENTRI is now 12 months. Thats crazy! Let me know how your call goes. The call center opens up at 8:30am EST. I called at 8:31 and immediately had someone pickup. The process still took 30 mins to file an investigation though.

And a minute after posting my above comment I finally received my CA. Applied on 09/30/2019, approved for CA on 07/02/2020, scheduled for interview on 08/24/2020. 276 days or 9 months and 2 days of waiting. Wow!

Not sure what happened here ... but I warned my friends (husband and wife) that it's been taking 250+ days to get CA ... we just planned a trip to Australia for 2022 and I told them better apply now because you never know ...

Application submitted: Tuesday June 30, 2020
CA received: Friday July 3, 2020

Of course, no interview locations within a 4 hour hour drive are open to accept anyone yet ... we told them to just keep watching and snag when 2 spots open up.

That was just crazy!!

I would monitor the following thread on the status on the status of the enrollment centers. When you see an update to availability (or on or near August 10), I would start checking the CBP's TTP interview availability site.

[Updated] All CBP TTP Enrollment Centers closed until at least August 10, 2020
