We were high school sweethearts (in the 1980s) but maybe, just maybe there is something in her background that she is hiding from me.
Please calm down. There is no "first in first out" queue for applications. Some simply take longer. It does not mean anything how long it takes, only what the end result is.

Adding to the positive progress...
  • Applied/Paid December 11th, 2018.
  • Conditionally Approved notification in system was 2/25/2019 (no email).
  • First available Interview in CT was 5/26/2019 (which I gratefully accepted).
So my wait was 76 days for Conditional Approval. The government shutdown was definitely a factor.

I'm hoping to try walk-in hours.

Welcome to FT. If you need something sooner, keep doing a new search while your desired center is open. Cancellations occur frequently. Good luck.

I thought my sarcasm was obvious when I wrote in all CAPS; I guess not.

It doesn't really matter what she's done. The past is the past.

The real issue here is that there's no point in being able to get through immigration quickly if you have to wait for her on the other side. Time to start looking for a new wife.

Applied 12-12-2018
Conditional Approval 2-26-2019

Will try to do On Arrival in Chicago on my way back from Sweden. Not sure that will work however since I will be landing at 6:30 PM on Friday. Looked to me that it was only available till like 3 or 4. Hopefully I am wrong.

Applied 1-26-19, still under review
Wife Applied 2-4-19, conditional approval 2-8-19

There's no rhyme or reason to this I see. My trip isn't until July so I have time but this whole process....I'm a little turned off by it. And some of you have been waiting months! It shouldn't take that long.

Looks like applications submitted on the second week of December are being conditionally approved now. Mine was submitted on Dec 21st, so I guess I have a couple more weeks of waiting ..

Submitted application on 1/25/19 (when the government reopened)
Conditionally approved on 2/1/19 and signed up for an interview (a few spots were available on 2/26-28)
Interviewed today and received email notifying me of change of status shortly after the interview.

Updated my earlier post to include my approval.

For those in the South Bay, Global Entry will be at the Santa Clara Travel Show on March 23/24 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. Free entry and open interview slots too!
