Applied Jan 6. Still pending...

I was hoping to schedule my interview for next week because CPB is hosting interviews in Omaha next week. It would be much easier to interview at home than to travel to an interview site.

Just got my conditional approval today! And got my interview scheduled here in town while CBP is visiting, next Thursday.

I applied on 12/31

Conditionally approved on 1/10

Interview on 1/13 (did not disclose a wet reckless from 2001 on application but the agent was able to look it up in her system, and it showed as dismissed)
I didnt get final approval on the spot however the agent said I would be approved but it might take an extra week.

Final approval on 1/18!

I'm in San Diego and did my interview at the Otay Mesa office.

Applied: Jan 16th
Conditional Approval: Jan 25th
Interview: May 31st (will try to reschedule and/or walk-in)

I have dual citizenship and lived in 3 different countries - wondered if they request background check from all 3 countries? Conditional Approval only took 9 days so I think they only have my U.S. background - not enough time to request much of anything in 9 days, much less have it translated.

Applied: late on Jan 16th
Conditional approval: Jan 25th
Interview scheduled: Jan 31st Derby Line VT

I'm in the Boston area. Nothing open here or in RI until April or later. VT had lots of availability, could've gone tomorrow even.

I had my interview in St Louis (after a 5 month wait). My husband had a new passport since the original application, he brought it to the meeting and they switched his details there and then. I am a dual citizen which was not a problem either. They were dead on schedule, and very pleasant. Got our acceptance email as we left the building, and our GE cards a week later.

Here is my GE timeline: 01/11/2017 - 01/26/2017

Here is my timeline:
01/11/2017 - signed up online for Global Entry.
01/24/2017 at 05:00am - received an e-mail for conditional approval.
01/24/2017 at 09:35am - Logged in to the GE site to schedule my appointment. I live in the Washington DC area and we have three locations - Baltimore BWI Airport, Dulles IAD Airport and at CBP Headquarters. BWI's first available date was 04/15/2017 while IAD's first date was 03/14/2017 - two whole months! For CBP HQ in DC, the system said "No appointments available". Decided to log back in a couple of times to check for any cancellations. Suddenly... lo and behold... an appointment for 11:30am at HQ had opened on 01/26/2017, just two days from now!!! I could not believe my eyes, so immediately took it.
01/26/2017 at 11:20am - walked into CBP HQ and was greeted by a very friendly officer. Walked up to an officer, handed him my paperwork - he asked me about my name, if I had any customs violations, was I ever convicted of any crime. I tried to make a conversation, but he did not seem in a talkative mood. He took my fingerprints and a picture. Then he said I would receive an e-mail message if I was approved, handed me a brochure, told me the number is my KTN now and how to use the kiosk - I was done and on my way by 11:30am.
01/26/2017 at 11:37am - Received the e-mail message of approval. I was done!!

Jan 21 - 10pm - Applied
Jan 30 - 2am - Conditional Approval granted
Jan 30 - 8am - Interview scheduled for Jul 24 @ PDX
Jan 30 - 9am - Earlier interview scheduled for Apr 13 @ PDX
Jan 30 - 10am - Earlier interview scheduled for Feb 6 @ PDX

I hawked the interview calendar this morning and was able to luck out really well. Assuming all goes well, should be all approved within 2 1/2 weeks of applying.

Applied - 1/17
Conditionally Approved - 1/26
Interview - 1/27 (I got lucky with a cancellation at an airport I was transiting through the following day)
Approved - 1/27 (received email 5 minutes after interview)

I definitely recommend checking random airports for cancellations - the soonest appointment within 2 hours of me was going to be ~2-3 months out.
