Champagne Moutard Pere & Fils, Brut Cuvee Prestige, France
The Champagne China Airlines has selected for you is from a family estate located in the Cote des Bar, a wine region between the plains of Champagne and the rolling slopes of Burgundy. This estate has existed since 1642 and supplied grapes to the big champagne houses for a long period of time. At the beginning of the 20th century it became a "grower Champagne" estate, which allows for precise, hands-on control of all aspects of viticulture, wine-making, and maturing for a relatively small yearly output. An interesting aspect of Brut Cuvee Prestige is its balance of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay, with 36 months of bottle aging, lending an enticing aromatic element and forward, easy-going textural component. This undervalued variety exudes personality, with dried fruit, candied citrus and brioche notes along with a vigorous persistence across the palate. These champagnes should be appreciated for their energy and dynamic lift, along with a finely-honed elegance and precision which follows the vigorous first impression.
Champagne Moutard Pere & Fils can be drunk alone or with nuts or as an accompaniment to appetizers. Good for vegetarian dishes, or white meat dishes like fish and chicken.
White Wine
Moutard-Diligent Chablis Premium Cru, Burgundy, France
The Chablis region is the northernmost wine district of the Burgundy region in France. The grapevines around the town of Chablis are almost all Chardonnay, making a dry white wine renowned for the purity of its aroma and tast. All of Chablis' Premier Cru vineyards are planted on primarily Kimmeridge Clay which imparts a distinctively mineral, flinty note to the wines.
This selection uses fifteen years Chardonnay vineyard grapes with traditional planting, hand harvesting, transporting and crushing machinery, the use of alcohol and lactic acid in the apple barrel in stainless steel fermentation, after fermentation residue containing at least about 4 to 6 months of time before they can be bottled. The most basic way to filter in order to preserve the natural characteristics of the wine, and taken to the low-pressure way to ensure the quality of bottling. Delicious typical Chablis with a delicate white flowers, acacia and green apple, lemon aroma, full of elegance and meticulous excellent taste experience.
Food Pairing : Vegetarian, Poultry, Rich fish (salmon, tuna, etc.) and Sea Food.
Rudolf Muller Riesling Spatlese, Mosel, Germany
The Riesling grape is native to the Rhine basin of Germany, with the best variety coming from Sunny Hill Vineyards, whose alluvial soil is from the Mosel, a tributary of the Rhine. Post-fermentation, the wine is perfumed with the scent of white flowers, apples, pears, apricots, plums and other temperate climate fruits. The Mosel Valley Riesling grape is deliberately picked over-ripe in late autumn to bring out the special aroma of tropical fruit and the flavour of candied fruit. The over-ripe grapes create a wine with higher residual sugar content and lower alcohol level, but uniquely scented with a honey fragrance. The special acidity of Riesling grapes balances out its higher level of sweetness, producing a wine that is not too sugary and has an elegant complexity.
The Mosel riesling is a good match with seafood and chicken dishes. Due to its sweetness, it can go well with spicy Thai food, Indian curries, Sichuan and other Asian cuisines.
O:Tu Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand
Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand has been recognised worldwide as the wine that best presents the highlights of this unique grape variety : simple, fresh, fruity, balanced, just like the pure earth of New Zealand. The wine in the first nose has attractive aromas of guava and pineapple. And in the second nose comes flavors of orange, lemon, blackcurrant and gooseberry. Slightly higher acidity brings a fresh hedonistic excitement. After the acidity fades in the mouth, an elegant minerality emerges leaving an impressive aftertaste.
This white wine is a perfect aperitif and also goes well with a variety of dishes including seafood and poultry.
Red Wine
Chateau de Saint Gemme Red Wine, France
Chateau de Saint Gemme is situated on the left bank of the Bordeaux river in the Haut-Medoc appellation. It was previously part of the renowned and long-standing Chateau de Lachesnaye. However, in 1962, the owner of the Chateau de Lachesnaye separated Saint Gemme to emphasize the uniqueness of the wine produced on this estate.
This Saint Gemme wine is made from a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot that is simple and balanced. The wine is filled with the aroma of rich, red berries, spices and a hint of oak. After a slight whirl in the glass, it has a noticeable cherry and blackberry scent and fills the palette with a distinct mineral flavour. The wine is ruby colored and has a full yet delicate taste, with appropriate tannins and ripe fruit flavours interwoven.
This Bordeaux wine has a silky lingering taste that goes well with poultry, red meats, and cheeses.
Conti Serristori Chianti Red Wine, Italy
Conti Serristori is a noble Florentine family which, in 1523, the great Niccolo Machiavelli wrote his most important works (Il Principe, Mandragola and Clizia) in their famous winery. Prescribed by the rules of the DOCG, particularly acclaimed parcels selected in the Sienese part of the Classico zone of Chianti, on land in the communes of Castellina and Radda. The vineyards are trained by the Guyot and spurred cordon systems on well exposed hills of very mixed soil, and often with very different microclimates. Ruby red color, vinous bouquet fragrant of ripe grapes, violets and irises, with hints of fruits of the forest and vanilla, dry, very attractive, clean and savory and pleasantly fruity flavor, with an elegant, lingering aftertaste of raspberries and almonds.
Food matches : poultry, steak, lamb, mixed grills and mature Pecorino cheese.
Galvin Family Cellars Merlot Reserve, Napa Valley, USA
The wine is from the Galvin Family Cellars of Napa Valley which is made from elegant and approachable Merlot grapes. Merlot is characterized by larger particles, peel thin, low tannin. In particular this harvest was slightly delayed, the sugar of grape is the higher, therefore not only lead to the wine fruity, with slightly higher alcohol, and also with relatively low acidity. The texture of this wine is supple and mellow, no need to decant. After opening the bottle, it is natural to show the approachable beauty of "girl next door".
The color is a healthy dark ruby with aromas of red cherries, blackcurrants, plums, and seductive toasted oak. It is juicy, full-bodied, opulent, and layered with fruit and spice flavors.
But the most unique is that the with medium or a little heavier flavour cuisine.
Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny Port, Portugal
Renowned wine critic Robert Parker praised Taylor's as the Chateau Latour of Port, and commented : "it is my opinion that Taylor's tawny ports are the best of their type. When tasted against other tawnys, they exhibit more aromatic personalities, greater fruit and ripeness, and a wonderful sweetness and lingering quality. The 10 Year Old Tawny is a personal favorite."
An exceptionally fine, mature, tawny blend, aged for 10 years in oak casks. Elegant and smooth, combining delicate wood notes and rich mellow fruit, it is bottled for immediate drinking. A superb dessert wine, particularly with dishes made with chocolate, coffee or almonds. Taylor's 10 Year Old Tawny may also be served at the end of the meal in the same way as Vintage Port.

White Wine

Red Wine
Jacob's Creek Wine Maker's Selection Shiraz Cabernet
Medium ruby red with purple tints. Lively ripe plum, blackberry and cassis fruit notes with hints of black pepper. A medium-bodied wine with rich layers of dark fruit flavors combined with soft and rounded yet persistent tannins which carry through to a long lasting palate. This wine demonstrates the harmony that can be achieved by careful blending of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Enjoy with many more kind of dishes, such as stir-fried beef with mushrooms and oyster sauce.
Perrin Et Fils La Vieille Ferme Rouge
This rather simplistic Rhone style wine offers a tasty, fruity, (cherries and kirsch), slightly tannic, round, and generous representation of the solar vintage.
De Bortoli Family Selection Shiraz Cabernet
Lifted nose of dark fruits and spice carry through onto a palate showing fresh fruit flavours balanced by oak, soft tannins and good length. Perfect match with Duck, or Rabbit.
White Wine
Tyrrell's Old Winery Chardonnay
The palate is generously flavored with white peach citrus characters and a clean, crisp finish. Serve slightly chilled. An ideal accompaniment to a wide variety of cuisines such as seafood, vegetarian, chicken and creamy sauce pasta dishes.
Jacob's Creek Wine Maker's Selection Chardonnay
Bright pale straw color with green hue, this wine displays fragrant citrus, lemon blossom and fresh white peaches with attractive aromas of toasty oak. Fresh nectarine and citrus fruit flavors are balanced with a soft creamy mouthfeel, complemented by creamy / buttery notes resulting from a full malolactic fermentation and oak ageing.
Champagne
Monmathe Champagne
A light yellow straw colored, light effervescence wine displaying a mouthwatering autolytic / yeasty character, combined with white flowers and candied citrus fruit (tangerine).
