The prestige cuvee of Taittinger, Comtes de Champagne first appeared in 1952. A Blanc de Blanc, the Chardonnay grapes are sourced from prized vineyards including Grand Cru sites in Avize and Cramant. The 2006 is a powerful, refined and expressive Champagne, this vintage is showing citrus fruit aromas, lime blossom and notes of caramelised grapefruit. It has a great length and complexity and is a perfect wine to begin a fine meal, yet could be enjoyed throughout.

Taylors St Andrews Riesling 2015, Clare Valley, South Australia
As a founding member of Australia's First Family of Wines, this now three-generation industry leader is not only about delicious wine. Numerous awards over the last decade recognize Taylors' dedication to sustainability, and respect for its surrounding environment. As a leader of the Clare Valley, their Riesling is exactly that. The bright, tangy citrus fruit on the palate and flinty minerality makes this wine electric. For three years running, Taylors has been on the World Association of Wine Writers and Journalist's 'Top 5 Wineries in the World' list.

The Lane Gathering Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2017, Adelaide Hills, South Australia
This wine reflects the unique terroir of the estate more than any other. The blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon combined with barrel fermentation, ripe flavours, minerality and complexity are a mirror on the site in which it is grown. An incredibly versatile and food friendly wine that offers amazing texture and bright flavours when young, but ages gracefully over many years.

Levantine Hill Estate Chardonnay 2015, Yarra Valley, Victoria
Picked in small parcels when at ultimate ripeness, the fruit for this wine is taken care of by hand at each available opportunity. A touch of 'Old School' here with ripe stone fruit characters, grilled nuts and a trace of honey. The palate has generousity and weight with just enough acid holding it in shape.

Red

Curly Flat Pinot Noir 2014, Macedon Ranges, Victoria
Established by Jeni and Phillip Moraghan Curly Flat is a meticulously run vineyard. All the wines - outside of vintage variation of course - have been getting steadily better and this 2014 is another very good release. Malty, sweet-scented oak, bright cherries, sweet acids and long, fine tannin. Delicacy and power; light feet but a lasting impression.

Clonakilla Shiraz Viognier 2016, Canberra District, New South Wales
An alluring and exciting wine from the Canberra district. This seduces with small dark crushed berries, lifted spices of pepper and clove. Tim Kirk has created a perfect illustration of Shiraz Viognier showing that elegance does not need to compromise power and length. The fine grained tannins are immaculate and add to the depth and persistence of the wine.

Parker First Growth Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, Coonawarra, South Australia
'First Growth' is the flagship wine from Parker and, is only made when the growing season shows exceptional fruit quality that is deemed to have ageing potential beyond 15 years. There is no expense spared here in what is now and Australian icon. This vintage delivers dark and concentrated fruits, a hint of mint with cigar box and pencil shaving characters that frame fine suede-like tannins.

Dessert

Lillypilly Noble Blend 2015, Riverina, New South Wales
This is one stunningly aromatic dessert wine with tropical fruits and glorious fresh vital passionfruit, lychees and pineapple. This wine is a lighter style with lively acidity supporting the fruit characters. Sweet but balanced and seamless in delivery, it will leave you wanting more.
