Great report, thanks for putting it together. You've convinced me to include Matsumoto when I visit in July.

We went to Matsamoto twice we had a nice Rickshaw driver take us around the castle he kindly took us back to the train station we went in July like you are go early it gets so hot . One of the prettiest castles in Japan.
