Great to see you returned safely and on time, despite the cancellation, even if your luggage didn't.

I do like Finnair catering and service too. Try the Northern Blush drink next time :tu:

What an adventure! I’ve not flown Finnair for a while but pre-Covid, always had good flights to HEL and back with them.

Ive also flown Swiss a fair few times, both in economy and Business, including a J trip to Tel Aviv via ZRH. Much better than BA by far.

Agree! It's a breath of fresh air now not being a slave to BA. A lot of the times, I am finding that the competition is far superior to anything BA offers!

I’ve found it amusing, of late, to read how many people have finally had the chance to try other airlines and realise that, at times, the competition is as good, or better than BA. It’s a shame that it took something as drastic as a change to the BAEC, which I liked in its original form.

BA are usually the most convenient carrier for me on domestic and some European flights and I have had some really good CE flights in the last 2 years. Having said that, I’ve had some mediocre and a couple of poor flights in CE in that time too. Which is why it’s so frustrating; when BA get it right, CE is a decent offering in the European market; when it’s poor, I wonder why I bothered.

Fair comment. I will still use BA I think, but I won't be beholden to them anymore. When BA get it right, you can have a great flight. But more often than not, I'll experience a crew who just can't be arsed. The most consistent thing about BA is the inconsistency! I had a bit of a realisation a few weeks ago - simply pay for whatever cabin on whatever airline you want to fly with and it will be fine!
