LHR-STR scheduled for either 08:15 or 18:00 on 12 September. Are you looking at the earlier or the later (and presumable pre-trip-report-do lounge crawl in T3)? Or another airline entirely?

I'll pencil in Sinsheim on 13th. Google Flights is telling me the absolute cheapest flight is 270 return for barely more than an hour block, I don't think that will do. so might have to commit the grave sin of not flying in.

BA919 STR-LHR goes at 12:00 or 19:05 on Sunday 14th. Then I would take instead KL1834 to AMS at 18:15 and have first flight on my home carrier since '96. (And Japes, KL961 goes onward to NCL at 21:15 as I'm sure you've seen.)

Not booked a hotel yet but thinking something very close to the Hbf to knock a chunk of the Saturday travel time there and back. Food wise, a brauhaus or two works for me :)

Oh crossed wires, I thought you meant stay in Sinsheim Fri - Sun and be near the station to do Sinsheim tech museum and Speyer tech museum on Saturday.

Personally don’t fancy the long train trip out after a 9pm post lounge crawl arrival :)
