Bulkheads to Belgium: A Soccer Weekend
Overview
This trip was the continuation of my nested round trip from my previous Plus Points and Pints Trip Report. My PlusPoint Polaris upgrade for the BRU-IAD leg cleared instantly when I booked, and the IAD-BRU leg randomly cleared four months out in December. In early February I had to figure out what to actually do for the four days I was going to be in Europe so I pulled up FotMob, a soccer schedule app, and a map. After some browsing I realized Standard Liège and Bayer Leverkusen both played the same weekend on Saturday/Sunday and Liege and Cologne are just an hour train from each other. Soon my plan was taking shape: arrive Brussels Saturday morning, take the train to Liege, then go to Cologne the next day for the Leverkusen match on Sunday. Monday I plan to head back to Brussels and then fly home on Tuesday. As an added benefit to this plan, I managed to convince a friend who lives in Amsterdam to meet me in Liege. Itinerary Polaris Lounge IAD IAD-BRU Polaris Brussels to Liege Train Raddison Liege City Center DB Liege to Cologne Urban Loft Cologne DB Cologne to Brussles Best Western Brussels BRU-IAD Polaris Polaris Lounge IADGot off work early, so decided to save money and utilize the new Silver Line extension by taking s local bus to McLean metro. Unfortunately the bus was a minute early and passed me as I was walking to the stop. Annoyed, I bit the bullet and took the $35 Lyft. Funnily enough, we passed the train I would have been on fairly quickly. FWIW Metro takes 30 min while the drive takes 20 with a near zero traffic risk. Take that public transport! https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d191bf9f5.jpeg IAD was a breeze and about 15 min after my Lyft dropped me off I was in the Polaris lounge. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2d8ac2b4e.jpeg Started with a Stella. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6fb75a826.jpeg Then talked Whiskey with the bartender and ended up doing a tasting with the Lagavulin 16 (my go-to at home and favorite), Toki, Talisker 16, and one more which I forgot to record the name of. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2c7bf85e5.jpeg Having enjoyed my whiskey, I headed to the dining room for a meal. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e68248307.jpeg The salad was a rare miss for the Polaris lounges. Severely underdressed and largely bland. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b0866d1b9.jpeg The pork dish was much better and very good. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1f27b0620.jpeg Lastly, some sorbet that was so good I had to take two pictures of it. Definitely don’t have a future career as a food blogger. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2e150b830.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...316930b3d.jpeg Then a 15 minute walk to the gate, D26 (almost the furthest possible from the lounge) where boarding was a absolute cluster. Really missing my 1K preboarding now that I am just a Gold. At least there was a good view of our 777-300ER. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...f3fb5758b.jpeg To be continued…. |

IAD-BRU Departure: 6:39pm (Scheduled 5:50pm) Arrival: 8:21am (Scheduled 7:15am, +6 hours) Flight time 7:02 (7:42 including taxi) Seat: 1L Group one was surprisingly light for a sold out 777-300ER, and I had the pleasure of turning left to my seat after boarding through 2L. Standard Polaris setup https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e0e1caec0.jpeg Another view of all my goodies. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a5e096d2e.jpeg Big bottle of water which I love, helpful to have on arrival. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8979d5648.jpeg Shortly after sitting down the FA offered a PDB of sparkling wine, not the Chao age they serve on board due to tax reasons. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b8a9eeb33.jpeg Tonight’s menu. We ended up having a 45 min ground delay to offload bags so I was chatting to the FAs about the rumor that garlic bread was back. They looked and were happy to confirm and even showed me the bag they were catered in. They seemed to be knots which looked good. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b3db88aca.jpeg We passed a Lufthansa 747 headed to Frankfurt while taxiing, yet somehow it got to take off before us. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6870c7c80.jpeg In his welcome announcement the Captain warned there would be some turbulence after take off and in light of the recent LH injuries/diversion (he just said “events”) he would be keep the seatbelt sign on for a little longer. As promised, it was bumpy with a 5 minute stretch of moderate turbulence then some standard choppy air. About an hour after take-off, and only 10 min after crew were allowed to standup, the service started with a nice towel. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...155956b28.jpeg Started watching the movie Amsterdam as nuts and a first drink was served. The nuts were warn but weirdly soggy, I wonder if they were stuck in the oven for longer than usual due ot the turbulence. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...50e5515b4.jpeg Then the meal was served. United has definitely stepped up their salad game. The food was fine but nothing remarkable. Note for whatever reason garlic rolls didn’t end up being served. No idea why, but wanted to get to sleep ASAP so didn’t say anything. The crew were great during meal service and proactively offered refills or to switch drinks when a new course (nuts, tray, dessert — would it be too much to ask for a separate appetizer UA!!!) came. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d58e094cd.jpeg Being sensitive to lactose, I passed on the Sundae, much to the shock of the FA. Instead I had a port with the egg custard, which was really good! https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1c4f2eca0.jpeg Then I went to brush my teeth, change into my self-brought pajamas, and asked for a mattress pad to make my bed. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...e372b5ea7.jpeg I made a bed nowhere near as good as the one ANA flight attendants me when I flew them in F! https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...53b296f45.jpeg Nice thing about the bulkhead is the wider foot well. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1c4db1a84.jpeg I got a good 2.5 hours of sleep and an hour of on-and-off napping. Soon it was time to the meal service where the menu’s Belgian waffle wasn’t loaded but instead a ham and cheese sandwich. I went with the egg dish even though I knew I wouldn’t like it. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ae9205f22.jpeg There was a delicious fruit salad that came with it. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1e19527c0.jpeg Spent the rest of the flight listening to a podcast and enjoying the gorgeous views. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2b6c73c75.jpeg Since we arrived in Brussels late there was a mad dash of connecting passengers, so I let most go before leaving the plane. Fortunately, immigration for non-EU passport holders had no line. The EU line seemed long but was fast moving but don’t know for sure. All in, another standard Polaris flight. Service better than usual, and breakfast worse due to not loading what I wanted. UA’s one tray meal service was very annoying on IAH-NRT when I flew that, but on a red eye it was fine. The crew had my tray cleared 45 min after they stood up post-turbulence so all in a great speed for a red eye, just a shame it started an 45min later than otherwise for reasons outside everyone’s control. Writing this on the DB IC from Liege to Cologne and hopefully will have the Liege portion posted soon! |
Looking forward to the football part (I am from Germany, so I am allowed to call it that way) and your visit to my hometown Cologne.
If this trip report is kind of live, you have been watching Leverkusen against Berlin, I suppose? This was a very decent game. It is a pity you haven´t been able to come a week earlier when Cologne was playing against wolfsburg because before the game, we had a special choreo to celebrate the 75th anniversary of 1.FC Köln. The game was not that good tbh, so in terms of football you made the right call ... ;-) |
You are correct! Really enjoyed Cologne — made me realize how much I love Germany so am plotting a trip to return.
By far the best match day experience I have had in Europe, starting with free train tickets with a match ticket. Will have to go to FC Köln next, time. |
I'm on this same flight in September. I had not chosen 1L because I thought it would be too close to the galley. Did you find an issue? I like the wider footwell.

Liege
Arrived at the beautiful Liege train station about an hour on the train with a change in Leuven https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6b687ac53.jpeg First stop was to drop my bags off at the hotel and then COFFEE which helped fight off the jet lag. Nice to know places in Belgium have oat milk. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...de7813910.jpeg Liege city walk. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6b0be9b7e.jpeg More of Liege. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...176c59faf.jpeg Raddison Liege City Center I got to the hotel around 10:30am and they said check-in would not be available until 3:00 pm. So I headed out on the aforementioned walk (pictures above). I had a very forgettable chickpea stew for lunch from a yelp selection gone wrong. By the time I was back at the hotel at 2:00pm the room still wasn’t ready so I just waited for an hour in the lobby. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ed5cbf799.jpeg Very nice and clean room. For $110 in a good location this was a bargain. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...750336288.jpeg Granted I had just flown a red eye, but I found the bed to be very comfortable. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4331b5be0.jpeg Nothing says Europe like a vending machine with beer in it. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0a73822e9.jpeg Standard Liege Match After going for a run and showering, I headed out to a restaurant I scooped out for a Liege signature meatball. I found Friterie Du Longdoz which seemed local and good. So having navigated there to what I thought was the restaurant, I realized I had walked into a very local pub with a name that ended in Du Longdoz. This became apparent when I asked for a menu and the bartender said “Beer.”. Figuring it was a sign I needed a Belgian beer, I got one from the bar and the bartender served some nuts to go with it.They didn’t speak any English, and I forgot to brush up on my French so instead of the bill I was served a second beer…oops. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d61856d0d.jpeg Eventually made it across the street to the Fritere which was pretty busy and seemed to be full of locals. I thoroughly enjoyed my dish which was basically frites with a sweet/sour sauce and meatball. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...216cb48d0.jpeg Nice night time view as I walked to the bus to the stadium, which I either missed (even though I was there 5 min early) or showed up 20 minutes late. The locals seemed to be confused too, so I suspect it was just late. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...136994b52.jpeg After the worst bus ride ever, where it was standing room only and the driver had to slam on the brakes at least 4 times sending everyone flying, we made it to the stadium stop, which was across the river from where it was supposed to be due to Matchday traffic. I followed the hordes and ended up at the correct entrance. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...24fc22bd1.jpeg Pretty great view. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...96189605b.jpeg The ultras — who had lots to celebrate as LI eve won 2-0. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4d7d04b92.jpeg Half time snack for 5 euros. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...13a3eda55.jpeg After the match I asked a steward where the bus to the city center goes and he directed me to the area where Google Maps said the stop should be, which seemed promising. But it turns out instead, he directed me to where the supporters buses that take people to/from all over Belgium are, not the city bus. I ended up backtracking to the other side of the river where the bus dropped me off but didn’t see any coming. At this point I was exhausted (it was 11:00pm) and had been walking for 40 min. With no Uber or TaxiNow i walked up to a police officer who didn’t know where the busses go. As I was there, the bus I wanted drove by, so I sprinted to catch it. The driver was kind enough to wait an extra minute, holding up traffic on a one lane road so I could make it. Glad he did because genuinely unsure how I would have made it back to the city otherwise. Cool to see over 100 busses taking people to the match from all over. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b0e9c6296.jpeg The next morning, I woke up and went for a run to allow me to maximize my time in Cologne without having to workout there. By a bustling Sunday morning farmers market. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5cc00660b.jpeg Train from the city center to the main train station. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b4896d9b4.jpeg I had plenty of time to enjoy the marvelous architecture. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...76a8b6cef.jpeg Breakfast snack — have to replace the calories I burned running. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3ea59d014.jpeg Right on schedule, my DB ICE pulled in to take me on to Cologne. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d5b4d85d1.jpeg |

Cologne
I was treated at the train station by beautiful views of the Dom. Then made the 5 minute walk over to my hotel, the Urban Loft Cologne. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c945bac0b.jpeg Having dropped my bags off at the hotel, I walked to get a coffee which ended up being my best oat cappuccino of the trip. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...faf81cf9e.jpeg Was struck by how many places in the city had beautiful unique views of the Dom. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...cae4dae7b.jpeg Around 1:30 I headed to the Hbf for a train to Leverkusen for the match. I was in line to buy a ticket when a British guy in front of me asked the attendant if the match ticket works as a ticket and to my surprise they said yes. Did some research and was thrilled to learn most Bundesliga tickets include train tickets. Sure enough, on the 20 min journey they did a ticket check and accepted mine. Already on the train noticed a lot more English, mostly Brits, who were heading to the match. The 20 min walk from the station to the ground was packed,https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...fb3df9e48.jpeg Finally had the BayArena in sight. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...047d176ca.jpeg Entered the ground about 1.5hrs before kickoff and walked around before buying a €6.40 beer. I was surprised how expensive it was, but I enjoyed a kölsch. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c9125b8dc.jpeg Then, I found my new favorite stadium amenity: a beer garden. Still holding my empty first beer I walked up to get another and a currywurst. After much gesturing, I realized you get €2 back when you return the cup, so the beer was really €4.40. Thoroughly enjoyed my currywurst. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...aba90dd59.jpeg Still hungry, I sprung for beer #3 and some frites. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...25a8602f1.jpeg I had a great view from my €15 seats. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c4bfbd65c.jpeg Half time pretzel and a coffee. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...96c1cea1c.jpeg After an entertaining 4-1 win by Leverkusen it was time to head back to the station. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...4863ec166.jpeg While walking back I stopped at a beer vendor on the path for a train beer. My mispronunciation of Kölsch drew a well deserved chuckle from the vendor and the people behind me in line. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bc6e03047.jpeg Urban Loft Cologne This was a no frills hotel that cost $75 a night — booked through the Chase Sapphire portal to get my $50 back. I had low expectations, but the hotel blew me away. It was nice, clean, had a comfy bed, and most importantly a gym. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...12376e42a.jpeg My room was a little small but since I hardly spent time in it, I did not care. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...425fa3030.jpeg The bathroom was nice and had a shower with incredible water pressure. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ce4dd60fb.jpeg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6ddf0f65d.jpeg The aforementioned gym. It was really hard to find hotels with gyms that were less than $150 a night. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...092177094.jpeg Dinner in Cologne After resting in the hotel, I headed out to dinner. Since it was a Sunday night a lot of things were closed so I went for a very touristy Peters Brauhaus.20cl beers, but frequently served. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...00a6b359c.jpeg I started with a delicious goulash stew. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...7419d92bc.jpeg Then the main event, a delicious pork knuckle. Good thing they don’t share the nutritional information! https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...624487841.jpeg After dinner, I headed back to the hotel for a good nights sleep. Worth noting the room had AC and heat. Breakfast at a touristy cafe across from the Dom. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ac55e633c.jpeg The European breakfast for €14. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a10552241.jpeg After breakfast, I went into the Dom then did a morning walk through Cologne. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8c7bfa28e.jpeg After my walk it was time to grab my bags and catch the ICE to Brussels. I thoroughly enjoyed Cologne and it made me realize how much I love traveling in Germany. Hope to make it back soon! |
DB ICE to Brussels
My train was about half full which meant I got an empty seat next to me, https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...944ffc76a.jpeg Quick lunch/snack https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b26eff6e4.jpeg Then, I went to the dining car to get a beer and coffee. The attendant also gave me some chocolates. Best Western Brussels City Center My hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the Nord station. For the first time all trip they were able to give me my room even though it was 1pm. That’s where the good news ended as the room was pretty gross. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...764f73af6.jpeg While big, the room was in need of a refurbishment. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bd9bc3315.jpeg Bathroom with old fashion radiator. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...3bb9edb82.jpeg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...1c48e318e.jpeg Exploring Brussels I must admit, based on previous trips, I had very low expectations for my time in Brussels, however I ended up thoroughly enjoying it. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ade684fd2.jpeg I went on a walking guest to find good chocolate and stumbled through some cool neighborhoods. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...93ff38d98.jpeg When in Europe, I always try to have at least one gyro as they are always so good. This one which included frites did not disappoint. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...5c244bcba.jpeg More city views. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ea3be6e31.jpeg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...401c9ccbc.jpeg Lastly, decided to stop by the EU parliament. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a857bfd21.jpeg Having walked for 3 hours it was beer time! https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8cd0d9846.jpeg Then I headed over to St Catherine’s where I had scooped out a wine bar. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...a80570f3b.jpeg https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...04e1a4c5f.jpeg I knew the place was good when I asked for a white the server said “which one I have many” in a condescending way. As expected, his recommendation of an Austrian gruner veltliner was incredible. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6751fe635.jpeg Then, I walked across the square to a mussels place. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2764eb66b.jpeg huge portion, and tasty! https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...0f9ffecf7.jpeg Then, I headed to the grand palace for a night cap https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...dbbe3d08e.jpeg More beer please! https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...962a0fd7d.jpeg and a waffle snack on the walk home,to complete my touristy food trifecta https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...db26b2c97.jpeg having enjoyed a great night, it was time to go home. I woke up early to go for a run and stumbled through another cool neighborhood. Then, it was time to go to the airport. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...906d12a71.jpeg to be continued…. Sorry for the delay! |
Both priced for ticket and hotel (in Cologne) surprised me. Very reasonable.

Sorry for the delay, been really busy at work!
Started my day taking the train one stop to BRU https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...73fb672e5.jpeg Diamond Lounge Brussels After previously being stuck in an hour line to leave the EU, this was a welcome sight — no line! https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c4a7ba097.jpeg I arrived at the Diamond lounge to find nothing had changed really since my last visit. The lounge dragon said all priority passes work except Chase ones. Didn’t impact me since I was in Polaris and have an Amex and Cap1 priority pass card. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...622f6e37d.jpeg Decent buffet spread https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...d8f3c3713.jpeg Acceptable hot breakfast options https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...76d52038e.jpeg And the high light of the lounge, ample candy. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9f7349ce6.jpeg Attempted to pour my own beer, but definetly did not do so up to Belgian standards. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...06be48986.jpeg Enjoyed some tarmac views and my poorly poured beer with a snack. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b42614199.jpeg Decided to fuel up for the flight with some water and espresso. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...bc7d7c1ac.jpeg Before long it was time to head to the gate. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...626b4020e.jpeg UA951 IBRU-IAD Departure:11:47am (Scheduled 11:55am) Arrival: 1:53pm (Scheduled 2:45pm, -6 hours) Flight time 7:37 (8:06 including taxi) Seat: 1A I was greeted at my seat by the usual assortment. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2dfa98070.jpeg Todays menu. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6c46ce8bb.jpeg PDB of OJ. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...aca36dc7a.jpeg Great view as we turned for takeoff on this rainy day. https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...10e30dfff.jpeg 15 min after takeoff the FAs brought a hot towel. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...2f3fed566.jpeg 30 min after takeoff the drink cart came through where I selected a champagne to go with my nuts. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...b9eeecb86.jpeg About 10 min later (before I finished my drink/nuts) I was served my lunch. The food was edible, but not as good as the outbound. https://cimg5.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...607057ded.jpeg I finished with coffee and a port to go with a pretty good cheesecake. https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...6e4acd0f3.jpeg After lunch, I realized my seat wouldn’t recline. I asked the FA and she was able to manually do it, but it would have to stay down. Even though there were other empty seats she gave me a sizeable ETC which I appreciated. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...ca28aa9e5.jpeg Enjoyed my new Bose headphones and started watching the White Lotus. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...8adc14cbd.jpeg Before long, it was time for our pre arrival meal. I went with the burger which surprisingly had cheese (menu didn’t say it did) which I picked around. https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...9ec041562.jpeg I asked the FA if I could also have the couscous and they obliged. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...da1dbfd73.jpeg Enjoyed a brownie and coffee during our approach. https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...84df88e54.jpeg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...c17018288.jpeg After a quick taxi we parked and I bid adieu to the great crew, who constantly offered refills and seemed to enjoy their job. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fly...83ace14ab.jpeg No line at global entry and 30 min from deplaning I was home. Thanks for following along! |
Great report!
Curious, if Diamond Lounge is PP, why isn't Chase PP accepted? Or is it a Plaza Premium lounge? |
