Quick run to...LAX TBIT

Maybe some of you will enjoy seeing these pictures.

I found myself picking up some food at the In N Out on Sepulveda today and thought I’d go check out what LAX just because. Could it be that I have severe travel withdrawal?

Walked around (mask required to enter the terminal, but there was no one at the door to check)

Driving towards TBIT:

View along the Departures curbside towards the AA terminal (there’s construction where the old GE office was).

This is where the TK and LH check in...isn’t happening today.

The southern hall:

and this was the departure board from this afternoon until tomorrow morning.
I didn’t know Iberia flew LAX-LHR ;-)

I know. It was incredible to see the place so empty.

was there last week (T4 - flying AA domestic), it was kinda busy as they were morning flights to DFW, JFK.
the TSA pre-check line was not operated :(

cuz codeshares

Speaking of which, in this sort of situation where we only have the codeshare flight number, where on the Internet do we go to find the operating carrier's flight number? (I can think of using Google Flights and just straight-up searching the origin and destination, but that seems like a relative hassle.)

In any case, nice to have this little look around. :tu:

Of course. My airport memory banks are obviously dusty. Didn’t change over...it just remained Iberia.

I bet on it being BA metal. P.S. I understand the curiosity.
